Campuses Beyond the Time
Zamanüstü Yerleşkeler: Türkiye Şeker Fabrikaları (Campuses Beyond the Time: Sugar Factories of Turkey) This project, carried out by TOBB University of Economics and Technology Faculty of Architecture, is an online exhibition of historical photographs of Turkish Sugar Factories. The main objectives of the project are to raise awareness of industrial heritage, to develop strategies to protect and transform this heritage, to discuss and evaluate the issue on different platforms by organizing various events. In this way, it is aimed to introduce Turkish Sugar Factories and industrial heritage to a wider segment of society in order to protect it and pass it on to future generations.
I designed the desktop and mobile interface of the exhibition. I aimed for a responsive design that will work on mobile and desktop without installation. The website, which I supported with micro interactions, works with a web-app mentality in the logic of a photo gallery instead of a general scroll structure.
